Finance & Administrative Services Director

The town of Crested Butte, Co., is seeking a finance and administrative services director for this charming, small mountain town known for its stunning natural beauty and year-round outdoor recreation. Manager–Plant Operations (water and wastewater)

The city of Mountain Home is accepting applications for manager–plant operations (water and wastewater) within the public works–water department. This senior leadership position is responsible for the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of the city’s water and wastewater treatment plants, directly safeguarding public health and environmental quality. The manager directs and coordinates both day-to-day and long-term plant operations, providing strategic oversight of project delivery, budgeting, staffing, training, supervision, emergency response planning and regulatory compliance. This role plays a key part in maintaining uninterrupted service, meeting state and federal requirements, responding effectively to system emergencies, and ensuring that treatment facilities operate efficiently, sustainably, and in alignment with the city’s long-term infrastructure and service goals. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of supervisory or management experience, including five or more years in water and/or wastewater utilities. Manager–Assets and Maintenance

This role leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the public works asset management program, ensuring that water, wastewater, stormwater and public works facilities are maintained in a safe, reliable and financially sustainable manner. The manager provides strategic oversight of the city’s CMMS, infrastructure condition assessments, risk-based decision-making, preventive maintenance programs, and long-term capital and replacement planning. Through data-driven analysis and cross-department collaboration, this position directly supports service reliability, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and responsible stewardship of public funds. Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management, municipal infrastructure or related field; a bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, computer science, public administration, business administration or a related field is preferred. Strong skills in asset management software, GIS (ESRI ArcGIS), CMMS platforms and data analysis (SQL/Excel), along with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to technical staff, leadership and stakeholders, are highly desirable. Work is performed in warehouse and field settings and may involve exposure to chemicals, dirt, grease, and infectious or contagious diseases; use of protective gear is required. City Administrator

Battlefield, Missouri, is a fast growing, family-friendly, residential community located between Springfield and Republic in southwest Missouri. Battlefield (pop, 6,500) is a 4th class city that operates under a highly cooperative city administrator-mayor-aldermen form of government. Battlefield encompasses approximately 2.6 square miles with a $3.3 million annual budget and 18 employees. Municipal services include police, municipal court, planning and zoning, parks, public works buildings, streets and sewer. The city is currently seeking a qualified, experienced professional with strong interpersonal skills who can communicate well with citizens, mayor, board of aldermen and city staff. A bachelor’s/master’s degree in public administration or a related field is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to competently create and manage budgets, be knowledgeable in municipal financing and accounting oversee and develop personnel, provide visionary leadership to the community and staff and be committed to economic planning and development. The selected candidate should have three or more years of progressively responsible municipal government service.
