Chief of Police

The City of Trumann is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Chief of Police. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all operations of the Trumann Police Department, ensuring public safety, enforcing laws and working collaboratively with city leadership, staff and the community. A degree in Criminal Justice or a related field is preferred but not required. Prior law enforcement leadership experience strongly considered. Strong communication, organizational and management skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the public, city officials and department staff. Salary based on experience and qualifications.

City Administrator

The City of Fort Smith is searching for a City Administrator. The incumbent, under the direction of the Fort Smith Board of Directors, serves as the municipality’s chief executive officer leading the City of Fort Smith’s strategic vision, ensuring efficient operations, financial stability and strong community partnership in all areas of municipal government daily operations. The City Administrator is accountable for measurable outcomes to the Board of Directors (financial stewardship, progress on the consent decree, public satisfaction, etc.).  The starting pay range for this position is $180,000 – $210,000 depending on qualifications.
